GMT East 2002
Up

The following pictures are from GMT East, held April 19-21, 2002 at the Crowne Plaza, White Plains, NY.  Note that the commentary was written by one Richard H. Berg (who also took the pictures), and I take exactly zero blame/credit for any of it (except for the last four, which are pictures I took, and commented upon, as far as you know).

Marty Sample showing obvious effects of an afternoon with Ted Raicer and his Reds. Bill Cooper shows Andy Taylor exactly where Scotland fits in Stuart K. Tucker's version of the universe in Victory in the Galaxy, a new Sci-Fi game in development. Bill Ramsay and Wray Ferrell wrestle with Flagship. Jack Polonka and Graham Cosmas try to out-Tyrant each other at the battle of Cronium . . . a contender for the "Can It Be Bigger Than Raphia?" title.
Rich Shipley tries to find some way to move those damn Union units in Chancellorsville from Glory: Across the Rappahannock Allan Rothberg, Wray Ferrell, and Aaron (no photographs, please) Silverman enforce the rules in the card-only version of Aaron's Racketeer.

Jason Levine, in Baby Face Nelson mode, looks for another cop to kill in Public Enemy.

Jeremy Billones and Andy Maly try to outwit Ted R's mechanics at Clash of Giants: Tannenberg.
The Fox (center) watching two other "Nuts", Bill Terdoslavich and Rich Simon, give the Fox's early-stages Bastogne design a go. Prof. Mark McLaughlin giving his class of students pointers on how to pass the George Bush Standardized Test on Napoleonics. Graham Cosmas tries to find some empty space to move a Russian unit at Triumph and Glory: Borodino. Lou Manios showing the visual version of a DR=6 on a CRT . . . floored by the whole GMT East experience.
