BLOODY BEACH: OMAHA

Bloody Beach: Omaha was created by William Ramsay, Harvey Mossman and Scott Cameron.  The game depicts the first two days of the landings on Omaha Beach by the U.S. 1st (Big Red One) and 29th (Blue and Gray) Infantry Divisions.  Opposing them are the German 352nd Infantry Division, along with elements of the 716th Infantry Division as well as the 30th Schnelle Brigade.

Each unit is an infantry company, tank platoon, headquarters, pillbox or resistance nest.  The basic sequence of play is the activation of a single regiment or battalion, which costs supply points.  Each side is limited in the number of supply points available, but can activate units by die roll, depending upon their efficiency level.

Bloody Beach: Omaha was co-winner of the 1999 Charles S. Roberts Award for Best DTP-Produced Boardgame.

Here are the updated rules, charts and errata.

The game is currently sold-out. It may still be available for $24.40 plus shipping at Boulder Games.
